it's been forever since i last posted. but winter is here, and that always makes me want to write.

today was a perfect lazy sunday, filled with snow melting, hymn singing, christmas decorating, christie dupree music listening, cosmo reading, etsy surfing, and mashed potato eating : ) see what i mean? perfect.

HYMN SINGING
we sang one of my favorite hymns today in church called, "Lord, Keep my Heart." the lyrics to this song never fail to bring me to the verge of tears when i sing this song. "

CHRISTMAS DECORATING
i love everything about christmas. but most of all, i love christmas decorating! so much fun. today we put our tree amongst many other decorations. we wrapped all of our picture frames and put bows on them (my mom always did this in our house when we were growing up).

i have so many random things i want to put on here today.

First of all, I went to see Ingrid Michaelson for the third time a couple days ago. She was awesome, as always. Going to see her is super fun, because it's like seeing a stand-up comedian and a singer simultaneously. She is constantly making jokes, and she is actually quite entertaining. (Videos to come soon). On this same note, I can't wait to see Metric and Muse in October
