Weight Watchers, Graduation, and Birchbox!

This all-inclusive update is long overdue, but here I go.

I've been doing weight watchers with my sister since October now. As annoying and preachy as this will no doubt sound, eating healthy is the best! I feel a thousand times more energetic, focused, and positive. Even if you aren't trying to lose weight, weight watchers is a great way to help you get more nutrition into your diet. Eat your fruits and veggies people! :) My sister and I will be starting a weight watchers vlog on youtube soon, so keep an eye out for links in the future.

On a completely different note, this is my last semester in college! Finally, right? Even though these 5 years have felt like 10, now that I'm reaching the end, I'm a little sad about it all coming to an end. There's a good possibility I'll have a marketing position immediately after I graduate, so I'm feeling pretty prepared at this point. Just 8 more weeks to go...

Lastly, I got an email a few days ago, letting me know that my first Birchbox has shipped. I'm incredibly excited about this! I love surprises, mail, and beauty samples, so this is a win/win/win for me. Keep an eye out for a post in the next week with details about the contents of my March 2012 birchbox!

morning surprise.

i woke up feeling like i was in the twilight zone.

last night my sister and i had decided we were going to go to the gym this morning and we were going to leave the house at 9. im a very last minute person, and knowing that i would have to take a shower after the gym anyways, i set my alarm giving myself only 10 minutes to get ready. so there i was at 8:50, rise and shine, and off to the bathroom, when i noticed that i was home alone.

where did brittney go? did she go to the gym without me?
why didn't she wait for me?

confusion.

it turns out, she had to take our other roommate elizabeth to work. mystery solved.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL, folks.

when she got home, she had brought me breakfast from mcdonalds and hot chocolate.

it's been forever since i last posted. but winter is here, and that always makes me want to write.

today was a perfect lazy sunday, filled with snow melting, hymn singing, christmas decorating, christie dupree music listening, cosmo reading, etsy surfing, and mashed potato eating : ) see what i mean? perfect.

HYMN SINGING
we sang one of my favorite hymns today in church called, "Lord, Keep my Heart." the lyrics to this song never fail to bring me to the verge of tears when i sing this song. "

CHRISTMAS DECORATING
i love everything about christmas. but most of all, i love christmas decorating! so much fun. today we put our tree amongst many other decorations. we wrapped all of our picture frames and put bows on them (my mom always did this in our house when we were growing up).
